You know... it is nice to take a break from work, to stop dealing with everyones demands and look at VR, just look over to the pictures on my friends list.
Kind of makes my day, my mood better as I know they understand. We might not talk much...but they are there if I need them, as I am for them.

What are you guys doing?? A new profile pop up and you swoop in? Gosh- and to think finding a level 20 for a Coven or House was hard pressed.
And now that they are in your mentorship- or course they should be in your Coven or Houses.... right?
I know they can leave your mentorship at any time and all I am saying is I am just glad I am not a new member coming on here... give then a second to breath.
And no I am not just mad because you bet me to the punch. I don't do membership hunts for any Coven, House or the one mentorship I am in. :P

I want to do a profile that reflects the musical artist of the 80’s that influenced my life. Thinking of make up, fashion as well as music.
Thinking 5 is the max I should try and do picture that show the influence- hair, make up, look they was famous for. Music on the profile will be my favorite from them.
80’s bands that I loved:
Madonna- lace, pearls, trash make up.
Prince- purple, velvet, eyeliner, lips, and the attitude.
Duran Duran- style yes…make up was good- really like the one guy’s look.
Cyndi Lauper- style all her own.
Pat Benatar- loved her shoulder move in Love is a battle field… I use to do that in front of the mirror.
B-52’s- The style… loved the guy too.
Janet Jackson- long coats, covered her body at the first then BAM! Sexy.
Eurythmics- Sweet Dreams still makes me want to sing.
Adam Ant- Stand and Deliver was fantastic song. And his look was pirate sexy/ make up to me.
Take a while to get the clothing, looks, and the make up down, then pictures. But that is my goal. And getting the list down to five only. Hey- taken me this long to get it down from 54... lol
Then the seasons- and the elements. Lots of idea just need time to do them. :)

Reading Otter’s journal about health insurance makes me just say “Tell it sister!” I am one of those people who have a half ass insurance coverage. Brought back when I was 17? It pays a whole $25.00 for a office visit. No coverage for meds. It does kick in if you have a really bad hospital stay.
We found this out with my mother’s battle with cancer. They really did help out with those bills. Blessing on that. We was left with just over three hundred dollars for her treatments, test, x rays, stays in the hospitals.
We have tried to increase our coverage but now and days it is way more then I can afford. I will not work to pay my health insurance, as it is it take two months pay to pay for what I got. Any updates, to even get a update, is going to cost me 6 ½ months pay. It is a screw you if you don’t have it, screw you if you do. But you can’t get into most Dr. without some form of insurance so… I pay the policy and try to not go to the Dr.
Then my sister was bite by a brown recluse spider several years ago. She was in the hospital for months- a 6 inch wound in the side of her stomach. Like me she is overweight and they did not want to staple or sew the wound close, but to let it heal on it’s own.
Now she is at a bigger hospital in a town 100 miles away. My other sister lives there so we talk about the time needed for it to heal. Looking at two or three more months of bed rest, cleaning and packing the wound, having to keep the area clean…and my sister desire to get out of the hospital… it was decided she would move in with my other sister with me coming up on weekends to clean, shop, and give her a break from the care giving.
Once we left the hospital the insurance stop. We knew that was going to happen but being at a home made my sister more comfortable. So all the medical cost was on us, much less the work we put in to taking care of her.
Now while I don’t mind this, and would never complain as they would do the same for me, god forbid. But the huge bill we got about a year later from the hospital really pissed us off. Due to the infection, the special doctors they brought in to test the ‘ewww’ stuff that came out of her wound, the private room they put her in due to not knowing at first what was causing the black infection to spread by the day…. It came out to being over nine thousand dollars.
She worried about paying it… for about a month. After that is was $15.00 a month. She is making payments and I know she can make more of a payment but…$9,000.00 over what the insurance paid which was over three times as much?
Really- how many people do you know can make that kind of payment? If you can… you would of freaking had better insurance. I hate to see what becomes of medical coverage in the future, I really do.

A masquerade. In a way that is what life is.
We hide behind a mask for what ever reason. The pain and suffering we have been through, the upset we are afraid that is coming. Or maybe it is both. We cut a part of our selves off to stay safe.
Some use a mask to hide their darker side. The side they do not wish others to see, ashamed by the rage and darker desires. Instead of learning and growing from that side of themselves they cover it with the mask others will accept.
And me? I want to embrace the mask. To enjoy this enchantment we call life. Inspiration and fantasy meld under mask and cloak, mixed in with spells for self power. I want to learn of my darker side as I look at what is underneath my mask, hidden from all, even I. To remove it- feel the pain inside my heart and express it in my words as I face my life, both past and future.

You know...it comes to a point that you wish people did not know you. I look at the Bloody Feather and think...wow- I could have such fun with that site. I could let my darkest dreams and desires out.
But then I remember that if I type it there- it shows up here as well. And people here would read it.
Very cool site...just sucks that it can't be set up a little different.

I don’t talk much about Miss. D. I would say her name but I don’t know if she would want me to do so. She is on VR also and is the fourth lady in our BFF here in Kentucky. We are going on our??? 18 year of knowing her, Cat and I meeting her before we even meet Birdy.
What to say about Miss D… she is the oldest in our friends group. She is like all my friends as far as being very intelligent, creative, well read and settled in her life. She has moved back to our town a while ago so we are spending more time together now that she is closer to us then before.
She has always been more experienced in life, traveled and lived in different regions of the states, open to anything you wish to talk about. She is really just a person who does not judge anyone, a harm none type of person. She is an award wining photographer, been a news reporter and editor to several newspaper, and a keeper of history. (Curator of a museum and Historical Society, and loves doing Genealogy research) She is also a published author of several books on history and is semi retired at this point in her life.
And she and I have several loves that we share – one being Ghost Hunters shows. LOL As in we have spent the last three hours making fun on them. I do watch Ghost Hunter shows- with a grain of salt on what they find. Yes- I do believe there is “ghost” or something with us, in places. She has had her own experience living with one but that is her story to tell not mine.
Now picture if will… us with poor Cat in my living room. Cat is playing on the computer- the only way she will stay with us as she really dislike these shows, as Miss D and I hound the show.
“I need a hearing aid I tell ya… did you hear that scream?” “No but they are going to enhance it so you can. Wait for it.” “Oh.. that tape rubbing is a scream? Please… if they heard a real scream they would shit their pants.” “I can’t wait for the EVP that says -You are all idiots.” “They would just tell you it said “You are midgets. When I said I saw a 100ft tall dinosaur today Birdy- I wasn’t kidding. He was right in the middle of the trees, must have been hunting for a snack. Or a shade. You seen the TV ad for Hillshire Farms hotdogs? Couple standing in front of the grill and when she puts the dog on the grill it starts saying “When I say Hillshire you say meat…GO meat!” When she lifts it off the grill it stops.
So that got me to thinking… what happens if you eat it? When you open your mouth does “GO meat!” come out? When you go to the bathroom…would it start up if you take a dump? What if you only pass half of it…would it only say what you left in your body? Like... “Hill.. meat.”
lol Be would be really funny if you fart and it starts and stops like it does in the TV ad.

Just for laughs and giggles I went over to the polls to see what I could find. And I came up this gem:

WTH? I find it funny that a person who is on the site, who spends time here and enjoys the site, is now being question on if they are forum hogs.
Did I miss the part that people who are on here day in and day out (that is how you become a higher ranking member you see) is not allowed on the forum?
